  1. Do I need a passport?
    Although only a driver's license was required to cross the border up until a couple of years ago, a passport is now required to cross the US/Canadian border.

  2. Does it snow in June and July up there?
    No, it's sunny and hot (average temperature 20C/67F)

  3. Is my U.S. drivers license OK to drive in Montreal?
    Yes, and if you rent a car you'll need a credit card. Remember that all measurements are in metric!

  4. Are there any free passes available?
    At this point we do not have any free passes available, although we have kept the costs extremely low to make the event accessible to anyone.

  5. Are there any special discounts for groups?
    There are no special discounts, but again, we have kept the costs low to ensure that even if several people attend, the costs will still be quite minimal.

  6. Is there a maximum of tickets we're allowed to book?
    No, you can buy as many as you want!

  7. When is the closing date for registration?
    Final registration is on June 26th, but spots are limited so don't delay. Take advantage of Early bird pricing: 149$ (expire on March 31st)

  8. Why do I have to pay?
    We have established a nominal fee simply to cover the costs of feeding and hydrating our guests. The information that you will be getting is absolutely free.

  10. What is included in my registration fee?
    Along with an agenda packed with opportunities for hands-on learning, in-depth training, best practices information, and practical tips and techniques for getting the most out of the platform, the ticket price also includes breakfasts, lunches, coffee breaks, and a cocktail reception!

  11. How is my registration confirmed?
    After completing registration, you will be redirected to a confirmation page. In addition, you will receive a confirmation email with your registration info and your printable ticket

  12. What are the cancellation policies?
    None, but ticket is transferable to someone else from your company

  13. What is a Canadian dollar worth?
    The US dollar and Canadian dollar are virtually at parity at this point, with the US dollar being worth not quite a penny more.

  15. Can I book more nights at the hotel to stay for the weekend?
    Am I getting the special rate for the weekend stay also? Check with hotel for availability, as we have only reserved block of rooms at a special rate for the two days of the event.

  16. Any parties planned?
    Yes a cocktail reception is planned on the 28th.

  17. My boss is a little stingy - how can I convince him I need to be there?

  18. What hotels do you recommend?

  19. How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
    Taxi fee is 38$CAD from airport to downtown, shuttle pass 8$ (STM | Skyport)

  20. Should I rent a car?
    No, the conference venue is right downtown. During Jazz Fest driving can be difficult as many streets around the conference venue will be closed to vehicular traffic. And the location of the venue will put you within walking distance of most of the best parts of Montreal.

  21. If I can't attend, can I substitute my registration?
    Yes ticket is transferable to someone else from your company

  22. How should I dress?
    Casual (Black tie AKA James Bond)

  24. Are discount rates available at the Summit hotel?
    We have gotten a special discount with the Hyatt Regency and are offering rooms at $199/night for the two days of the conference.

  28. How far away is Montreal?
    Montreal is about 370 miles north of New York City. It's exactly the same distance as NYC to Pittsburgh.
